1940; Pitman Publishing, New York;  Fundamentals of engine construction, operation and maintenance. Widely used during the Second World War to train aircraft mechanics. "Covers the work of an aviation mechanic on a strictly trade basis.  It not only lists the various jobs the mechanic should do, but tells him in detail how to do them and, furthermore, supplies the student with a substantial fund of related technical information which should raise him well above the level of the purely manual worker."

492 pages with many illustrations.  Book in good condition; inside front has some pencil calculations and original owners name; boards are a little dinged but color is good; no dust jacket.  A few "additionals" were discovered in the book from the estate's liquidation, see pictures.
