WM. G. LONG wrote 'Asses vs. Jackasses' after his "life-time experiences with human jackasses" in divorce and juvenile court cases. Following retirement, Judge Long and his wife travelled over the historical donkey trails in Western U.S. and researched the 6,000 years of history of service by jackasses, burros & donkeys to people. 'Asses vs. Jackasses' is Judge Long's account of the history of Jackass family, and his legal petition to defend the 'lowly burro'.
