Description -
For years (Bruce Ramsey) was librarian of the Vancouver Daily Province.  This activity not only stimulated his interest in British Columbia's past but gave him an exceptional opportunity to satisfy his curiosity through quiet research.  More recently he has assisted in the production of that newspaper's editorial page, which frequently hears evidence of his avocation to its features with backward glances to other years.
 
The present volume is the work of years of patient research, travel and study.  It includes maps which will be helpful not only in establishing location but as an aid to those readers who, inspired by this book, might decide to cover some of the routes and places on motoring holidays.
