For over 50 years Bill Walker has been one of Oregon's prominent technology leaders, primarily with Tektronix, Inc., and Planar Systems. Walker's intended path to being an English teacher took an unexpected turn somewhere on a radar mountain in Korea when he served in the Air Force. His subsequent career as an electrical engineer, a CEO, and a hands-on venture capitalist has spanned over fifty years in the Willamette Valley of Portland, Oregon. Over the same period Walker also produced an impressive body of poetry. Written from 1971 to 2012 and brought together here for the first time, his work resonates with themes of spirituality, work, nature, relationships, aging, and his upbringing on a farm in the Missouri Ozarks.
