PRINCESS GOLDENHAIR AND THE WONDERFUL FLOWER -

A classic child's fairytale. Prince Rupert sees a beautiful girl in the woods one day when he is out hunting. He falls in love with this girl and vows to find her again for she is the only one he wishes to marry, whether she is a peasant girl or princess.

He meets Elizabeth in the woods later, where she is crying about her abusive stepmother. Elizabeth is conflicted- she wants to run away from her stepmother but she is afraid that doing so would break Babette, her ill stepsister's heart. Rupert promises to protect her from her stepmother. He whisks her away to marry him and become princess of his kingdom. They marry and live happily together. Soon they have a daughter whom is named for her mother but is called by all those who adore her, Princess Goldenhair.

Elizabeth's stepmother was told that Elizabeth was dead, killed by wolves in the woods. This news threw Babette into a terrible fever that threatens her life. The stepmother, fearing for her only child's life, goes into the woods in search of the Wise Old Woman who has the only cure for Babette's fever. But in order to get the cure, she must make a deal with the Wise Old Woman that involves taking revenge on Prince Rupert and his bride- kidnapping the beloved Princess Goldenhair.
