Wouldn't it be splendid if there were a story shop where one might purchase the right story for the right occasion?  If we could walk in and say to the shop-keeper, "I should like a story to tell to a child who is afraid of the wind."  Or, "My group of children do not know anything about life on a farm; can you give ma a story to tell them?"...
